The human body accumulates through out the day significant amounts of static electricity from different sources: contact from electrical appliances, constant contact with clothing and static electricity in the air (for example dry winter weather). The consequences of this uncomfortable situation can increase tension and create stress for us. To eliminate this static electricity is to eliminate an unnecessary stress factor.
Antistress fabric conducts static electricity due to the carbon fiber woven into the fabric. Once in contact with static electricity or a person, the carbon absorbs the charges. These charges are progressively released in the air by phenomena called ionization*. When the voltage of static electricity is lower our body calms down. When we are relaxed our sleep becomes deeper and more peaceful.
* Antistress fabric has been controlled by the Institut Francais du Textile et de l’Habilllement with the European standard EN 1149-1. This is the standard recognized in Europe for anti static fabrics.
